Le trimaran est une solution intéressante pour qui veut obtenir des moyennes très élevées pour un programme de croisière. La coque centrale évasée peut disposer d'aménagements similaires à ceux des monocoques performants avec deux belles cabines doubles, un grand carré, une cuisine avec la hauteur sous barrots, une table à cartes et des WC. A cela s'ajoutent des performances remarquables qui augmentent le plaisir et le rayon d'action, l'absence de gîte, un tirant d'eau réduit et une belle surface de pont.
Un trimaran est également idéal pour s'amuser en course à armes égales, tant en temps réel en Open qu'en temps compensé dans le cadre de la MULTI 2000 ou du MOCRA.

A trimaran is an interesting choice for those who want to get very high performance on a cruising boat. The flared main hull has similar accommodation to fast monohulls with two large double cabins, a nice saloon, standing headroom at the galley, chart table and WC. Add to this high performance, which increases fun and range, lack of heel, shoal draft and large deck area.
Trimarans have an edge when the rule measures weight and sail area. This boat will be competitive in corrected time under the MOCRA or MULTI 2000 rules while been able to be first over the line in many events.
